Pastoral visitors needed!
Our Pastoral Care Team could use your help for a few hours each week.  We have a number of parishioners who are housebound, some temporarily shut-in, some who are lonely and some unwell. An occasional visit or even just a phone call from someone who cares can be a great blessing. We would gladly provide some training and support if you feel you could help out. Please contact David Swift through the church office.

Children from age three to Grade 5 are taught Christian principles from the Bible by members of the church. There are also stories, songs and games with crafts for all children to enjoy.
We are planning to have a Sunday School Youth family night as often as we can, perhaps monthly. Hope that all can come and join in.

For more info: contact the church office.

PENNIES FOR VICTOR!
The Sunday School has been sponsoring a little Boy named Victor Omondi.

Victor was born on Nov. 30, 2001. His language is Luo, the language spoken
in Riwa. Victor lives with his grandmother, uncle and sister. They live in a house made of mud and sticks with a straw roof. Victor attends nursery school, which is about 45 minutes away from home.

Victor is a healthy little boy.

Let’s keep collecting pennies for Victor!

Hailey decided early this year that she wanted to grow her hair long and donate it to people who make wigs for cancer patients. She was very excited and proud when she got all her hair chopped off!! When I asked her what made her decide to do this, she told me she saw a picture of her Granma in her head with no hair, and wanted to do it in her memory. Hailey's Granma Sue past away seven months before Hailey was born after a year-long battle from leukemia. Chris and I are truly proud of her thoughtfulness and willing to make a difference.
